Hong Kong's Shrinking Harbor by Hyun Bae and Yeung Shin

{{$t('general.by')}}
Created by Woon Hyun Bae and Yeung Shin Expand the window for full view The script models the expanding urban fabric at Hong Kong's Victoria Harbar. Once 2.3 km wide, the water is now 910 meters at the narrowest. The waterfront edge has had a progressive growth, producing districts of varying urban density. With the two patterns eventually colliding, the colored fluctuating strips suggest the utilization of the interstitial spaces as possible ways to further colonize the new districts.
