It had been forsooth... long ago, tales spun round hearths told of a warrior of righteous justice hailing from a bygone age. After the Cataclysm of 2290, nearly three centuries ago, the hope of refugees in a world split asunder told of a single rogue in the ranks of Evil. Even my own optimism had begun to fade as the tides of war raged on... and though I have escaped bondage to Evil and secreted away to the wastes with those who would dare for liberty, the grim realities of freedom began to set in.
