I find it is a good design to start, and to get my head around the coding aspect of putting different shapes together. Used mostly ellipses, quads, and lines. I did tweak the pattern a bit to my taste as I write and run the code. I test out different colours on it, but it does not seems to look as good as simple wireframe. I remove the background using noFill(), which result having the vectors to overlap each other, and create a more complex look to the pattern. http://dsdn142kirawat.blogspot.com/2011/03/first-day-first-pattern.html
